Hydrogen Fuel Cell Cars

Ready for hydrogen fuel cell cars? Let’s see what there is available for you.

Being able to run your car on hydrogen has never been more realistic. In fact Honda now has the FCX Clarity that is hydrogen fuel cell powered and only emits water vapor. It is fully electric powered. The electricity is created in the fuel cell with hydrogen combining with oxygen. The extra electricity is stored in a battery and then is used to power the electric motor engine.

The largest problem left is the refueling stations that need to be built around the country so these vehicles can travel across country instead of just around town in some of the larger cities. Right now these cars are in extremely limited areas but certainly seem to be a link to the future of getting rid of gas powered cars.

Honda is also working to develop home fueling stations that will do more than refuel your car but also help develop electricity for your home.

Hydrogen fuel cell cars are the wave of the future. They beat hybrids because hybrids are just an interim fix. Hybrid cars still use gas and still pollute.

Chevy has a hydrogen fuel cell SUV called the Equinox. They don’t have the range of the Clarity and just like Honda these cars are in very limited test areas. So the average consumer cannot buy them yet.

No need to wait on big business or the government get your solution today.
